Bag Policy

Please note that at the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts, a small clutch or wallet is recommended and no bags larger than 12" x 12" x 10" will be allowed. This includes backpacks, camera bags, and oversized purses.

Age Policy

Every patron, regardless of age, requires a ticket and must be able to sit quietly in a seat throughout the performance, unless otherwise stated. We welcome young children to our one-hour Young People’s Series concerts, designed for children ages 4 to 12 years of age. Children less than 2 years of age are admitted free of charge and are permitted to sit on a parent's lap for these Young People’s Series concerts.

Concert Insights

Evening Classical Performances
Concert Insights offers audience members insights into the performance of the evening. Presented at 7pm, the 30-minute Concert Insights features conversations with guest artists, chamber music performances by musicians of the North Carolina Symphony, lectures and instrument demonstrations—the perfect complement to an 8pm classical performance at Meymandi Concert Hall. Free to ticket holders for the evening concert. Please join us!
