CARES Act Tax Deduction

Did you know your donation by December 31 may be tax deductible up to $300 even if you don’t itemize? The Coronovirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (“CARES Act”) allows taxpayers who do not itemize their returns to receive a tax deduction of up to $300 for cash donations to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations during calendar year 2020. Your gift to the North Carolina Symphony this December may provide you with additional tax advantages. Please consult your tax advisor.
