|PROGRAM ALERT: North Carolina Symphony Performance with Yuja Wang Cancelled|
|Posted: November 28, 2011|
The North Carolina Symphony announced today that its special event concert featuring pianist Yuja Wang, scheduled for May 29, 2012, has been cancelled.
Her management said in a statement that “due to heavy scheduling demands, Yuja Wang has regretfully had to cancel her May 29 performance with the North Carolina Symphony, in addition to a number of other concerts in her diary. She hopes to return to the Symphony in a future season, soon, and thanks the patrons for their kind understanding.”
Ticketholders for the May 29 concert may choose to exchange their tickets, free of charge, into another performance in the Symphony’s 2011/12 season or donate the value of their tickets as a tax-deductible gift to the Symphony.
Patrons may use the Ticket Exchange Form, available online at www.ncsymphony.org/boxoffice, to either exchange or donate their tickets. Some restrictions or upgrade fees may apply. Call North Carolina Symphony Audience Services at 919.733.2750 or toll free 877.627.6724 for details.
