You’ll hear music by some of today’s best indy-classical composers—
featuring musicians of the North Carolina Symphony and guest vocalists
(My Brightest Diamond),
. The program includes the ethereal song cycle
by Sarah Kirkland Snider; a bluegrass-inspired piece for voice and quartet by Pulitzer Prize-winner
, who will sing her own work; and Gabriel Kahane’s vision of the North Carolina Symphony’s travels around the state.
