Patricia Banko | Violin 1
    The Jesse Wyatt Ethridge Chair

Patricia  Banko Pat recieved her B.A. in Music from University of California at Santa Barbara where she was concertmaster of the college orchestra from 1962-1964. She was a member of the Santa Barbara Symphony from 1962-1972,assistant principal from 1970-1972 and concertmaster of San Luis Obispo Symphony from 1972-1974. She joined the North Carolina Symphony in 1974.

Her outside hobbies and interests include gardening,aquarium keeping,cats, vegetarian cooking, alternative medicine, nutrition, sewing, Buddist studies and camping. She is also a former tennis and raquetball player, but says "I've given up competitive sports because I become a MANIAC!"
