About Us: Meet the Musicians
Jeremy Preston has performed in Canada and Brazil as well as major concert halls in the United States. He has performed at major music festivals including Tanglewood, Blossom, and Spoleto.
Trained at New England Conservatory's Walnut Hill School, Rice University and at the Cleveland Institute of Music, his distinguished teachers include Marylou Speaker Churchill, Lynn Chang, Kathleen Winkler, Sally Thomas and William Preucil. His chamber music coaches include Norman Fisher, Pamela and Claude Frank and members of the Cleveland Quartet and Juillard Quartets.
Jeremy has performed with the Spoleto Festival Orchestra, Akron Symphony Orchestra, Canton Symphony Orchestra, and was a concertmaster of the Tanglewood Music Center Orchestra as well as the Shepherd School Orchestra at Rice University. Mr. Preston is a member of the second violin section of the North Carolina Symphony.
